The Ethics School

Medicine has always been about more than technique. At its heart, it is a moral practice—one that requires not just clinical skill but wisdom, virtue, and a deep understanding of what it means to care for another human being. That is why we are so excited to announce the launch of The Ethics School.

Led by experienced clinicians, this programme is for physicians, residents and fellows, medical students in their clinical years and other individuals committed to the ethical practice of medicine. The Ethics School will take place in Ottawa from November 4th-6th. [Note: This is conveniently right before the CPL Annual Conference also in Ottawa!) Space is limited to ensure meaningful dialogue and interaction so register early.

Registration fee: $1,200.00

Early Bird pricing $750.00 before May 31st

Trainees are eligible for a 50% discount on fees.

“Ethics touches on every aspect of medical practice, as we seek to honour the value of the patient in light of the true nature of their value. The Ethics School aims to equip practicing physicians and physicians-in-training to think clearly and critically about ethics in the practice of medicine so as to develop a well-formed conscience.” – Ewan Goligher
