Annual Conference 2025

This year we will engage in a profound exploration of human flourishing through the dual lenses of encounter and presence. Over two thought-provoking days, participants will grapple with critical questions at the intersection of medicine, ethics, and human dignity. From genetic testing and AI in healthcare to fertility awareness and end-of-life care, each session illuminates how authentic human connection serves as the foundation for genuine flourishing.

Beyond the intellectual stimulation, the conference offers numerous opportunities for meaningful connection through networking breaks, table discussions, and social gatherings including a speakers’ dinner, cocktail reception, and banquet celebrating the Dr. Paul Adams Award honouree. This blend of academic exploration and community building creates a unique space where theory meets practice, offering both intellectual depth and practical wisdom for navigating our complex healthcare landscape with humanity and compassion.

The conference is open to students and professionals in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and midwifery and to other leaders working to promote life-affirming healthcare. Scholarships available for medical, nursing, and midwifery students.

Come join colleagues committed to upholding and promoting human dignity in healthcare, and return to your practice renewed, inspired, and equipped to foster environments where all can truly flourish.
