New Brunswick

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick does not have any specific guidelines, per se. We were told by the Registrar, Dr. Ed Schollenberg, in February 2006 that hospitals may impose their own guidelines and that CPSNB's guidelines can be best described as "prevailing practice." He also referred us to CPSNB's statement of Moral Objection, published in CPSNB's November 2002 Bulletin.
Nova Scotia
In correspondence received in February 2006, Registrar Dr. Cameron Little told CPL that the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia does not have a specific policy on abortion and that they use the Code of Ethics of the Canadian Medical Association (Sections 11, 12 and 13).
